Not that Ibragimov was bad but there was no chance of him countering Wladimir except with great timing, which he did not have. Atleast Thompson has size but the question is, does he have the skills or the speed?

IMO Thompson will be knocked out mid/late but it could go the distance, depending on how well he can take Wladimir's punches (because eventually they will land).
Klitschko's powerful jabs and rights could go straight through Thompson's high guard.
I agree,,, thompson has the wrong kind of defense. he blocks with his hands. wlads straight punches will go right through the gloves. sultan was much lower to the ground and moved more making it difficult for wlad to draw a bead on him

He is not a realistic contender, these guys are hyped up then wlad blows the guy away and you will be impressed! Its the Audley Harrison level that your talking about here, if you think a guy like Thomson could beat Wlad or even compete then your crazy.

cmon now, Im a Tony fan and all, but Peter wouldnt win a round? Peter is becoming more active in the way he fights, and still has a lot of power, possibly enough to split Tony's guard.

I like Tony and everything, but dont make him out to be more than he is. At the end of the day, hes still a fairly old guy that started boxing extremely late. thats why Im a fan of his. plus he seems like a cool guy.

lol,,,you just claimed you dont even know who he is yet you know he cant compete with the top guys? I dont think he beats wlad but he does have good skills and would be a handful for any heavyweight and would beat some of the top 10 guys in my opinion

peter would be exposed in my opinion. tony's southpaw style would have peter confused and he doesnt have the ring savvy to solve that problem. I was overexagerrating with the shutout call but I think it would be a lopsided desicion loss for peter

We're going to see an angrier, more ambitious Wlad Klitschko next time.

I don't know what happened Saturday night, but he didn't have the concentration or energy from the opening bell. That was not the same guy we saw last year. He didn't come out like he had something to prove.
