Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tony Thompson: Who will win?

Since Chagaev may be unwilling to fight him and if he can put off fighting Povetkin until the fall, Wlad will most likely defend his new WBO heavyweight title against his mandatory, Tony Thompson.

Who do you think will win and why? Thompson is a tall southpaw with a good jab. People shouldn't fool themselves into believing it will be an easy fight.

I don't think the fight would be as easy as the Austin fight, but I do think Wlad would catch him, probably around rd 6 or 7.

Thompson has fought and beat some decent fighters (Guinn, Timor Ibragimov, Krasniqi,) and his one loss was very early in his career. I'm not sure why he fought clubfighter Cliff Couser in his last fight, to stay busy maybe.

Tony's getting up there (36,) if he's going to take a shot at a title, he should do it soon. There are two easier ones out there for him than Wlad's though.
