Lewis is more active and would probably take more chances and catch WLad and KO him at some point. Lewis doesnt get enough credit for how good he really was.

The version that fought his better brother Vitali would blitz him.
the version of lewis that fought vitali would no doubt be kayoed. wlad has a much more accurate and harder right hand then vitali and vitali was able to hurt lewis badly in the 1st round. if it was wlads right hand lewis would have went down hard

He also seems to utilise his physical attributes much better than wlad can.... vitali aint been on the canvas 11 times in his career
vitali was not a big one punch guy like wlad. he wore you down and took you out. just look at the byrd fights. vitali couldnt drop him at all with the rights he landed and wlad put him on his back in both fights when he landed. vitali had the better chin and was mentally tougher though

the second byrd fight is irrelevant as he was nowhere near the same fighter. Whether vitali is a bigger puncher or not is debatable and you may very well be right. Vitali uses his physical attributes much much better than wlad does imo, and i sure as hell know that if vitali and wlad fought then vitali would take him out

Lewis' prime by most accounts was in his mid 30's, so he wasn't far off it when he fought Vitali, though he def could have come in in better shape.

Vitali better than Wlad, that's a good one.
Lewis was a couple of months off 38 when he fought Vitali, thats not his mid 30`s and his best physical and technical years were around 30 to 34, he clearly slowed down towards 35 and bythe Tyson fight he was 36 and much slower.

Agree with this. Lewis would jump on Wlad like he jumped on Vitali.
Only Wlad wouldn't be able to take it.
                Early KO.

this is basically 50/50 fight. anybody who disagrees is likely just falling into the "good ole days" syndrome where childhood memories dominate present interpretation and perception.

even lewis wouldn't say he would be able to walk through wladimir.

i could see either guy winning. i would give the edge to wladimir if i had to pick one.

i'm guessing most people here will pick who they like better or grew up liking. of course, i doubt many will actually admit it.

Give Lewis 4 months to train right now it doesnt even need to be prime Lewis, and he would beat Wlad.

he jumped on vitali? um,,he got dominated in the first round and was hurt badly by a right hand. if that was wlads right hand he'd have been knocked out
