Jermain got through Winky's guard and busted him pretty bad. What do you think Pavlik will do to the TURTLE. Winky's a little old and a little slow too. Watch the Pavlik vs McKart fight and you'll get an idea what's in store for Winky. I want to see it though so all those Winky nuthuggers would shut the hell up.

I respect your opinion and I wanna see that fight happen so I don't have to hear about Winky's p4p skills anymore. Believe me there's a bunch of Winky fans lurking around here. Pavlik will T off on Winky so bad it will have to end via TKO. Winky is a very tough dude too. Jermain didn't throw at Winky with the consistency and Jermain rarely goes to the body. Winky will hurt cause he won't be backing up with hands up like Taylor did last time.

Because Jermain used a lot of freaking angles. Pavlik doesn't throw that many. Just straight one-two's which is perfect for Winky's defense. Bernard didn't use that many angles, but he timed with the right straight perfectly and did use some angles also. He also wore Winky down with clinches and everything else.

I don't see Pavlik doing that either. I could easily see Pavlik losing to Winky.

Have you seen Bronko McKart fight? He's a carbon copy of how Winky Wright fights except that he's a little bigger. Kelly put him away in 6, thrwoing hooks, uppercurts, the whole damn notebook. If Winky fights like he usually does he'll end up tkoed by the 8th.

Winky Wright fought Bronko 3 times so I am sure Pavlik will use him as a sparring partner.

Sounds pretty farfetched 2 me. Wright is a seasoned veteran with more ring smarts than most fighters. pavlik is a simple hard hitter. wright wont have stamina problems like jt. after kelly punches out his load after round nine, winky will turn up the heat and break him down. kellys just a bigger mw. thats all. strong with a limited arsenal. and all his punches u can see coming. ill take wright in this fight, reason why it wont happen.

who is Wink gonna fight? Kelly Pavlik is the biggest fight for Wink to make.

but at 36 I think Kelly will be too much for Wright.

and as for the topic at hand, no kidding Duddy isn't ready for a shot at The Ghost.

hell I was watching the fight via sopcast, and the Irish commentators (guessing they are Irish)

mentioned several times during Duddy's fight Saturday that "John Duddy was lucky to be undefeated" (for the record this had nothing to do with the current fight at hand, the announcers were talking about career wise)

and that's considering
#1. Duddy's only 24-0 and more importantly #2. the level of opposition Duddy's faced career wise isn't exactly all that great.
