Doesnt matter if it shows or not, he loses this one by a landslide, Calzaghe is too good for B-hop, always was.

Calzaghe never has any plans, doesn't look at any videos of opponents and hardly even spars (when he does spar, it's tap sparring for speed and timing). It just comes naturally for him when he's in the ring, he stays loose and does what comes naturally. He says as long as he's loose, it just comes naturally what to do and how to adjust.

He's unbeaten since 1990, and unbeaten with his dad in his corner (I think about 80-90 fights).

But he hasn't fought anyone truly really good near their best and great against southpaws. And he's rarely not ate up right hands.

Oh and he lost against flat-footed Robin Reid, for sure.

Exactly, he alwasy tries to be slick like a Ray Leonard or Roy Jones but winds up looking like some cripple in there. If there is one guy to capitalize on those mistakes, it's Bernard Hopkins.

He is definitely no Jeff Lacy and he has more dimensions in his fight game then Mikkel Kessler.

Like I said, look at the Kessler fight. In the beginning rounds Kessler was doing very well. I even thought it was over for Joe by round 3, but then what happened? Did Kessler get tired? No. Did Kessler get hurt badly by a lucky shot? No. Calzaghe switched up his style, started jabbing Kessler and beating him at it and hit him to the body some good times and turned the match around.

Well if it isnt true that Calzaghe was always beating Hopkins, why did he completely skip the entire SMW division on his little trip up to LHW? Is it possibly because there may have been calls for him to fight the man at that weight? A man he had previously dodged? Hopkins has never wanted this fight, he knows Calzaghe is the better fighter, and on April 19th nobody can disagree.

That's because Calzaghe wasn't willing to come to America at that time and he wasn't half as relevant as he is now. Even now, Joe is being forced to come to the USA as part of his HBO contract. Anyway, this fight is bigger now then it would have been back then and you should be happy because Hopkins is 43 years old. Joe wouldn't have enjoyed such an advantage few years back.

Should I believe you or the interviews and people stating that Joe was willing to come to the US untill BHOP doubled his fee at the last moment?

A few offers were made to Bernard, at SMW and in america. He turned them all down, saying he wouldnt be able to fight at SMW. This was before the second Taylor fight, after which HE COMPLETELY SKIPPED SMW.
                      Coincidence?
