Ricky welcome back from your long holiday abroad with out the distractions of T.V. Radio etc. but look this is whats happening mate.
That junoir Witter went on to win the W.B.C. title and has defended it very dramatically since and now there's massive cry world wide for you to challange him for the world title at a sold out new Wembly stadium in may you have no fixed oppenent and this will be a fantastic event to showcase the Hitman power!
The champion is even willing to accept a 70/30% in your favour!!
i'm gonna cancell my holiday to be there because you did say that you would love to knockout witter didn't you or was you just thinking you would love to be able to?
see you in may ....so looking foward to it!

I must have hurt your feelings because you read too much into it.. The fact of the matter is that was poor officiating as you just admitted.

I was simply expressing how Hatton couldn't do a thing about it and looked like a little kid getting roughed up. So HE SHOULD FIGHT WITTER, BEAT HIM (IF HE CAN) AND RESTORE THE CONFIDENCE OF HIS COUNTRYMEN IN HIM. That's it.

I wasn't flaming PBF, I wasn't even flaming Cortez, just stating facts about his last fight.

this will be my final response to you.....bottom line is you made statements and i interpreted them the way i felt. it certainly seemed to me and i'm sure to others like you are and were defending hatton, for someone you claim you aren't a supportor of, one must really question you about it. You call your statements facts. THey merely opinions.

I'm done after this response to you......trust me my feelings aren't hurt at all, and you are absolutely out of line with that silly comment. i'm just a boxing fan as i'm sure you are.

Let me make sure you understand me, I am in no way trying to disrespect you, please don't try to disrespect me.
      Take care

What he owes to his fans, is to fight Witter! It's a rivalry thats been going for a while now, and everyone wants to see it. Diaz and Pac have their own business to attend to, and if everyone wins out he can meet both down the road. Instead he's talking Lazcano, Holt, and Malignaggi. He would get no credit for beating any of those guys when he has the WBC Junior Welterweight Champ in his face offering 70% to fight him. Hatton looks really scared.

Sorry, you'll have no luck convincing a coward who has cherry picked his way to stardom to take a real fight.

lets get a few things straight guys, as much as every purist boxing fan would love to see hatton vs witter, his lawyer is not wrong. every fighter in the world employs a risk reward strategy in pickng fighters, and witter is the highest risk to reward fighter in the world!

people are right saying hatton witter would be a massive fight in the uk, but hatton ANYONE is a massive fight in the uk! he will sell out manchester stadium fighting a 'bum' who is in the ring top ten, and wembley made an offer for the fight knowing he would sell that out too.

also, lazcano does bring more to the table than witter, as he is known in the usa and a more exciting fighter, so its an easier sell. everyone talks like witter is the dogs bollocks but demetrius hopkins wont even fight him because he doesnt bring enough money to the table.

who says witter is the number one contender anyway? he has no better resume than malignaggi- except paulie took his one loss like a man rather than being chased round a ring all night- and again paulie brings the US networks into play, so while he has the same level of risk he brings a much higher reward.

why does everyone hold hatton to another standard than other boxers? mayweather has no intention of fighting cotto who unlike witter does bring something to the table and is definately the number one contender, but no one is calling him a joke, because cotto has not invested his entire life calling him out!

whoever hatton fights next will be a tune up and should be after the beating he took. after that a fight with malignaggi will be good entertainment, and after that pac man will be a massive fight.

and yes i am a massive ricky hatton fan. witter would have a chance against him but whats in it for ricky, and dont say respect because no other fighter in the world would take such a low reward high risk fight.

also, have you even seen witter in an interview, he is a prick!

not sure how to spell his name, but some nigerian resident in england light welter (olegesun???) just called out witter, so i am expecting the announcement of the fight any time now.... no? whats that? junior witter cowardly ducking an opponent? what a wimp! see what i am doing here???

This would be a good fight, but I think Hatton should challenge Carlos Quintana for his belt.

Why would Hatton fight Witter? When he does KO him everybody will say "So he was 34 years old" It's a lose-lose situation for Hatton. So why waste time in fighting him. People don't wanna give Hatton his due, they'll be making excuses like when he made Kosta quit and when he KO Castillo. "Oh well they were old" and all that bull****.

I think the fight is gonna happen after listenin to hatton today. hatton said Witter should fight few bigger names and then he will consider him. Junior witters last fight was infront of 3,000 people in Doncaster, Rickys was in Las Vegas with like 8,000 brits and celebs backing him. Witter aint a big draw in boxing.

Witter can't sell out the Doncaster Dome if every ticket includes a free ice skating session.
