For how long did, Hatton continue to try to egg on Mayweather into fighting him, calling him nmaes and disrespecting him in th emedia, until finally Floyd took him on and KNOCKED him out!!! Witter is doing everything he can to secure a mathc-up with Ricky, for the Hatton camp to say that Witter brings nothing to the table is a very POOR excuse. My question to Ricky would be, "WHAT THE HELL DOES JUAN LASCANO, BRING TO THE TABLE, OTHER THAN HIM BEING A VERY WEAK OPPONENT?" I lose more and more respect for Ricky. If Ricky feels he's only got a few fights left, let him fight the top guys in his division!!!

He doesn't have to fight him, nobody can force him to or seriously call him a coward if he doesn't. But at the same time, he can't expect everyone to buy into his claim of only fighting the best at the weight and not see the noticeable question mark hanging over his legacy if he retires without fighting Junior.

Hatton said a couple of things on a couple of ocasions. And he said nothing directly at Mayweather and was never disrespectful. Besides, why should Ricky be forced to fight anyone that he doesnt want to fight right after getting KO'd in a poor oficiated fight? Answer me that.

Hatton already has his plans pretty much set for this year. Lazcano and then Malinaggi. If Pacman wins his next two fights, Hatton fights him early next year of Baby Bull.

His name is the second best fighter in the weight class that Hatton has declared his intention to fight the best at and rule over.
Being a fan of Ricky shouldn't blind you to what's actually going on. Witter has won meaningful fights, and - you know that some people say that Joe and Ricky's resumes are a joke, too, right? Would you call that objective fair comment or irrational slam born out of bias? Exactly.
