It is a shame this fight wont happen but I understand why Hatton wont fight him. Hatton has the chance to fight bigger names, make alot more money and fight in America. That is the way boxing is now but for you to call him a ***** is a joke. Hatton fought bigger names and better fighters than Witter. The should be sticky about this thread, everytime I come on here the is a thread about it. Oh and Im sure the threadstarter loves Hatton, he only ever makes threads about him.

True he has leached on to Ricky Hatton, but he is the man to beat to confirm or deny Witter as a world class fighter.

His name is the second best fighter in the weight class that Hatton has declared his intention to fight the best at and rule over.

He fought the number two at the weight in his second last fight. His last fight he moved up in weight and fought the best there. It's not like he ducking the number one contender. He's going to fight a tune up and it will likely be against a top ten opponent, then he may fight Witter or he may fight Malignaggi or he may fight someone else, it depends on who will be the most lucrative at the time.
