Robinson pinned them to the ropes and landed unanswered blows like it was a liquidation sale on pain.

Joe Louis' revenge against Max Schmelling was also punishing. Schmelling was screaming in pain from a kidney punch and seemed to rock back from every punch.

Mike Tyson had some excellent finishes, but I'd say the Pinklon Thomas one was pretty bad. It's hard to really narrow down one guy who stood up to sustained punishment from Tyson, though.

Pacquiao is a highlight reel of finishes. The way he got Morales in the third fight was good, but I like the way he pursued Jorge Julio en route to the stoppage.

Julio Cesar Chavez's finishing flurry against Edwin Rosario was nice. That is the perfect way to finish a guy, head and body.

Aaron Pryor might take the cake with the way he dusted off Arguello in the first fight. It's hard to narrow down a more devastating sustained flurry than the one that happened in the 14th round.
Michael Carvajal fights were incredibly bloody and crazy. But, I have to go with McClellan vs. Jackson in the early 90's.

Here are some that instantly come to mind:

          Mercer demolishing Morrison

Allan Green putting Codrington through the ropes (brutal finish)

David Tua's relentless punishment of Ruiz after he'd already been KO'd.

Corrales finishing Castillo was pretty decent.

Some great nominations and examples cited in this thread, but that one is difficult to get past for obvious reasons. Griffith > Paret has to be the single most shockingly brutal and unequivocal finish to a professional boxing bout that I've ever seen, on film or in the flesh.

And speaking of Griffith > Paret, the KO defeat of Paret by Gene Fullmer a few months before -- speculated as contributory to Kid's eventual death in the ring -- was pretty brutal. A shaken Paret coming bravely out of the corner after the first knockdown, for which his head and body had taken a heavy battering, taking a body shot and trying to hold on but being sent to the canvas a second and final time by one last staggering left. Seriously unpretty.
