It was one of the most violent finished I've ever seen so it deserves mentioning in this thread.

I agree, it's a shame such a beautiful sport can have such brutal results.

Another one I just remembered was Razor Ruddock dropping Michael Dokes:

Pernell Whitaker dusted off Diobelys Hurtado pretty damn brutally.

                You list the loser first?

A couple of Ray Mercer bouts come to mind. Morrison and Pegues...

Miguel Cotto tends to stop his opponents in violent fashion. Vic Sosa, Ricardo Torres, Ray Martinez and Gianluca Branco would support that statement.

Castillo/Corrales bouts gave us two violent finishes. The early end to Ken Norton's night against Gerry Cooney was savage.

Pernell whitaker never caught me as violent. Rather precise, sharp and tactfull come to mind.

However, I never saw the bout that you speak of .........Rockin'

What a great finish. I could only hope to one day be able to bludgeon someone with 1000 left hands as their body slumps lifelessly against ropes which hold them up for more punishment at the same time...
