I'd Give Gomez An Average Chance, He's Always Been The Underdog. He's Hungry And Wants To Prove What He's Got. I Think It'll Be A Good Fight, But Cotto Is The Best Welter Imo, So We'll Have To See

If Gomez caught Cotto with that right hand he floored Gatti with, he'd be in trouble.
LOL...again I ask, since Cotto has been at Welterweight, has he been seriously hurt let alone knocked down??? C'mon man...

And Gomez KO'ing Gatti is irrelevant to me. Any of the top 10 WW could've KO'd him on that night. You're body can only take so many beatings before it just gives up on you. Gomez couldn't KO any of the top 5 WW now, what makes anyone think he'll do that to Cotto who took harder shots from Shane Mosley?

        Cotto by stoppage.

I think cotto wins, but gomez will be competitive... it wont be a walk in the park... i can actually see gomez winning the early rounds before cotto wears him down and stops him...

Gomez at 147lbs is ultra solid and holds wins knockout wins at Middleweight.

If i was to bet it would be Cotto but for me if was to pick one upset this year it would be that Gomez stops Cotto mid fight.

I understand there is a rivalry with Mexicans and Puerto Ricans...... But Gomez has no chance. He has no power to keep Cotto off of him. Cotto will just keep coming and coming, until your broken down.

Yes he's been hurt and yers he's been knocked down.........where the hell you been? I love the way people type **** and have no clue what they are talking about...none.

Cotto isn't the best WW either, ever heard of a guy named Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

Gomez doesn't have a chance though, he has no power and even if he can box with Cotto, which I think he can, he won't be able to keep Cotto off of him long enough to win.

Cotto is too strong and big for Gomez, will end in a KO for Cotto I believe.
