listen he isn't fighting the best and he isn't satisfying your needs thats ok but, just ask yourself, who would win if they ever fought. If your answer isn't mayweather, than you are a hater plain and simple. Why don't you move on and take interest in another fighter if you don't like mayweather? there are plenty of fighters out there for you to watch, stop the hate.

He needs to beat Cotto its the only worth while fight left for Floyd after that there will be no-one else.

And i like Mayweather hes a great fight but he has a cloud over his career and thats Miguel Cotto, if he beats Old Oscar then fights and beats Cotto retires he will be an all time great top 20.

His win over Hatton was superb career best, i would like to have seen the fight fought fairly without Cortez runing Hattons chances but Floyd won and for the first time acted like a champion after the fight.

His best win was Bruce Seldon if i remember rightly and he isnt retired.

      I know what your doing.

But Ali beat Frazier, Foreman, Liston and Norton.

All of which hold wins over a dozen elite and some super elite fighters.

Spinks, Shavers, Lyle, Foster, Quarry, Ellis, Williams, Bugner, Young

That resume alone is utterly superb and they are Alis solid wins.

        Now his best wins:

        Listen x2, Patterson x2, Frazier, x2, Foreman, Norton x2.

His solid Resume without the elite is better than Holyfields, Bowes, Tyson and Lewis. Throw in his elite wins and boh!

Ali is the best HW to ever lace up gloves, hands down.

Ali also had decent wins over Cooper, Chuvalo, Terrell, Folley, Bonavena, Mathis and Mac Foster.

He fought pretty much everyone from his era (60's and 70's).

Joe Louis's resume is the only one that compares but IMO Ali is the greatest at heavyweight.

Yeah, that's what being the world champion is all about, fighting the top contenders. Too bad for Floyd and his paranoid fans.

Ali is THE GREATEST HEAVYWEIGHT OF ALL TIME! His resume speaks for itself. He had the heart and courage of a lion and he ducked no one! His pride would never let him duck another fighter. Go back and watch the film of Ali vs Cleveland Williams and you will see the most splendid fighting machine ever put on the face of the earth. At that point in his career, his speed and accuracy were simply amazing!

You guys talk about supplements but let me say this right now you can body build and body build but muscle bulk is nothing compared to usable muscle. For instance I used to lift heavy weights all the time and I am far bigger than my father who is military, but everytime we would move to another place (military brat) he could lift everything with ease like nothing and didn't struggle but I on the other hand, who used to rep 315lbs. like nothing would struggle with everything...see my point. I could bench far more than my father because I used supplements and ate a balanced meal but my muscle and bulk was nothing compared to my father's natural strength. You guys ever hear the old saying "they don't build them like they used to." This is that case in point. Fighters today are great but when old timers get together they will always say the fighters today could not beat the old guys because they were built different. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't but regardless this is one statement I will always agree and that Ali is the GOAT because he fought people way out of his prime and still punished them. Hell the man can forget more about boxing than we will ever know. He was a genius in the ring and out of the ring. One thing he had and still has that many fighters today lack is Charisma. The people loved him regardless of his antics because he was always true to himself and to his beliefs. He fought the best of the best and I'm sorry but those trying to say Mayweather is anything close to Ali are suffering from tunnel vision because Floyd is far from being this great...especially from the opposition he is handpicking these days or the way he goes about doing things. Floyd is Flashy and has exceptional skills but the people will never love him like they did Ali.

here is a quote saved for the ignorant haters...
How in the world do you think Hoya would be Cotto if Shane couldn't even do that and Shane beat Hoya twice? I think Shane is a better fighter than Hoya at this point in their careers and still has more speed than Hoya. Anyways, there is no doubting Floyd's gifts that are exceptional but he doesn't push the envelope when it comes to fighting the best. He left 130lbs. when there was still Acelino Freitas who at the time sported 29 wins with 29 KOs and then there was Joel Casamayor at the same time who was also undefeated. Then he went up to face Corrales who beat him in the first fight at 135lbs. Then he went up to 140lbs and never faced Kosta who was the man at the time and the Kosta of that time was not the same Kosta that faced Hatton so please don't give me that tired ass arguement about well Floyd just beat Hatton who beat Kosta...not the same man brother. Now Floyd is recognized as the champ at WW but has yet to face a WW so how is that even comparable to Ali...sorry man but there are far too many questions and blank answers about Floyd's handpicked opponents and facing the best opposition available for me or the boxing world to recognize him as the GOAT. He's far from that and even beating Cotto would be great but still far from being considered the GOAT.
