To me Pavlik bears resemblance to kessler, except a much crapper version IMO so i say calzaghe wins decision

the kid is 25 and clearly not ready for joe! he would have a punchers chance and give 110%, BUT MOST LIKELY LOSE A UD!

I also saw Pavlik hit Taylor quite a few times flush with uppercuts, that's why I was saying, they would be a key factor in this fight IMO.
Pavlik only hit Taylor with the uppercut when Taylor was against the ropes, or backing up. Those are two things Calzaghe doesn't do soo IMO they wouldn't be a great factor as Calzaghe is constantly coming forward which could really bother Pavlik because he's not used to backing up which could also be a deciding factor.

Kessler was only doing the the damage early on, Calzaghe had figured him out by the 3rd round i expect if the fight did happen that Calzaghe would figure him out even quicker. Calzaghe is also much more elusive than Taylor and it is hard to connect with the uppercut especially with Pavlik's lack of handspeed (relative to Calzaghes).

I would actually consider it being a late TKO or a VERY wide stoppage comparable to the Lacy fight, not because Pavlik is bad but he does the same thing over again. jab, jab, jab right hand and continues stalking. Calzaghe will find a way around that FAST.

Possibly, I don't know if anyone can be beaten like Lacy was though lol.

Take these crap arguments to Fanstasy. Pavlik has repeatedly said hes going back down to 160. He's already has a better resume the Hoe Calzaghe, aka dodge everyone to maintain a perfect record. You Euros keep beating it to your mangod. Brag about Lennox or something.

Calzaghe wins by stoppage. He has the advantage in ever single department. He's faster, he's stronger, he's bigger, he hits harder, his chin is better, he's a better boxer and he's a southpaw. Lacy showed incredible fortitude in going the distance with Joe but I don't think Kelly has Jeff's resilience.

Joe has the advantages, Kelly knows this, Joe knows this and Kelly knows that Joe knows this. It's a fight that Calzaghe has won before they even get in the ring.

Kelly has been brilliant for boxing and is a credit to his home town and his country. But why move up when you appear to be able to make 160 without any consequences. Moving up would be a bridge too far, he could beat Mundine, but Joe or Mikkel?? I think Joe at SMW or LHW with the caveat that Kelly would fight with massive heart to the very end whether that be a KO or the final bell

No way in hell would it be the same as the Lacy fight. Joe probably wins atleast right now but not in the same way as the Lacy fight.
