Pavlik Repeats, Outpoints Taylor in Las Vegas

Taylor was close, coulda gone either way, but in reality Taylor will be a champ again at 168. Pavlik is a very respectable fighter but i dont know how long his power will scare people until that guy comes along.

Taylor was headed for 168, win or lose, and no belts were on the line, so this one was mainly for pride. That said I think he fought a good fight, he's still young, and I think he will do some damage at SMW, especially with Calzaghe moving up.

Gd showcase anyone else agree?

I gta say it was very good not many knockouts but it was very gd to watch because of the boxing great displays from all the fights except the wbo flywieght robbery and the messed up scorecards on jermain and pavlik even though i to thought pavlik won but not by such a large margin it was great.
You dont get many showcases that the crowd likes to see without the knockouts boxing at its best.

I just wanted to make sure this was said. I don't want to hear that robbery bullcrap ok. It was a VERY close fight with some VER close rounds.

I think Taylor was alot more hurt in the 11th, I don't think Pavlik was hurt in the fight at all, he might have been stunned but his legs never gave like Taylor's. Taylor did do some some great work in there,he was quicker, it was a close fight but Pavlik scrapped through in the championship rounds.

Anyone that still thinks Jermain is the better fighter deserves to sink on the same boat as Harry Lederman does. Taylor's wild attempts to steal each round bordered on pathetic. I really want to see Pavlik against someone better than Taylor so that we can see where Pavlik truely stands as a fighter.

Good fight though, I think Taylor gave his best shot.
