Neither would win 1 round vs Calzaghe and neither will Hopkins.

He looked ****, throwing less and landing more percentage-wise? Then what did Pavlik look, missing WAY more?

Good fight, but Pavlik fans have A LOT to worry about.
I had Pavlik up by 4 rounds. Taylor didnt balance his offense and defense then he got tired as usual. And Kelly worked his jab more.
Taylor fought a bit too focused on survival.

....Taylor did the best he could under constant pressure. Pavlik is far from unskilled but Taylor is indeed the faster guy. Still, just being faster won't cut it when your in there with a guy who has more heart, some good skills, and a much bigger punch. Plus, Kelly listens to his corner and can think on the run.

I was actually impressed with Taylor, the way he tripled up the left hook,he fought his heart out,but Pavlik had too much pressure for him

In the first round i thought this aint gna last long,Taylor looked like he got stunned twice, but he fought on,gamely, the 11th and 12th was hell for him tough,he was in survival mode

I think this could have been better then the first, but it wasnt because of JT,he wanted to box,i can understand why tough

Taylor has all the god damn talent in the world but I don't think he is that smart, its ashame his skills work with a dumb brain
Nothing to do with dumb and a lot to do with endurance , and thats the only reason Cal could beat Kelly ( maybe) and Taylor cant .

no thing that if a judge had the fight by a wide margin that it wasnt a close fight.

Maybe there was about 6 rounds that were real close but the judge thought one fighter won barely. And in the end it looks like one fighter dominated
