I don't want to make any excuses about Pavlik but I have a feeling he might have injured one of his hands during the fight.

It actually looked like he broke his right. I noticed earlier in about rounds 4 and 5, whenever he would land a right hand, he would shake it after he pulled it back.

Yes I thought I was the only one noticing that.
That wasn't a good sign and I could see there was something bothering him.
He wasn't the Kelly Pavlik I saw a couple of fights ago.
Nonetheless, he was rewarded with a clear decision.
He worked his ass off to win, he wanted it more.
Pavlik's will is greater than Taylor's skill.
