No. Taylor was just good. He blocked more punches with his gloves. The biggest mistake I thought Pavlik made was continuing to throw the straight right, when Taylor was blocking with his hands in front of his face. The overhand right was open all night, he's just too slow to throw it with confidence I'm guessing.

i dont think pavlik looked horrible, just, too one dimensional. pretty much jab cross the whole fight, but you cant really blame him because it worked, although it was a close fight

i think if he fought someone who is more active than jermain was with good defense he would lose. i.e. winky would get an easy UD over him imo
