    Pavlik Looked Horrible Tonight

damn, he was slow as hell missed a lot of punches and after tonight I think if he were to face Calzaghe it might turn into a Calzaghe - Lacy 2 fight.

    That's just my opinion
What do u guys think of his performance tonight?

This thread is crap. Both guys did well for themselves but the key to winning the fight tonight was based on two things: Kelly Pavlik has a very underated jab, everybody talks about the right hand, but what a jab that guy has.

The 2nd factor was the better stamina of Kelly and the ability to throw alot punches.. I should probally add that Pavliks defense was better than expected to me (as a fan) Some of the people crying foul might not realize just how well Kelly did in blocking so many od Jermains' punches.

All in all, I came away with more respect for Jermain than I ever had, and more confidence that Pavlik has the goods.

      Cong**** to both men.

yeah right, his camp sucks and they talk **** about calzaghe yet they want to fight the pretender john duddy who like a few months ago I think back in August admitted that taylor would beat his ass on an espn interview... mwahahaha, Duddy wants a huge paycheck, and pavliks camp want an easy way out. Plus, pavliks camp kept talking about how hard it was for kelly to make 160... What a load of crap

Calzaghe would make pavlik look worse then jeff lacy, yes I went that far

Pavlik's timing was a little off, but he won so meh. He should have finished Taylor off after that body shot, he had so many opportunities but couldnt pull the trigger in time.

I think it is important to remember that Pavlik is still learning. Jermain Taylor is a very good fighter and Pavlik needs to learn more tricks to not allow himself to get tied up when someone is hurt like Taylor was briefly a few times.

He seemed off tonight, I agree. Not sure if it was the pressure of living up to the first win or what.
