Has anyone ever thought that Judah isn't mentally weak...

But just lacks the physical well-being to go 12 rounds?

He never has been a guy who has come on strong in the late rounds.

Maybe it is not mental weakness, but the fact that he throws away all of his stamina in the early rounds?

That would explain why he constantly gets the better of his opponents in the early rounds, because he is giving everything he has in those first few rounds, while his opponents are pacing themselves.

    Thoughts?

I've always felt he has more than enough tho go the full twelve..It seems as though when something doesn't work out for him right away he pretty much gives up. To me it's either that or he hates getting hit which always backfires on him because the best way to get hit is to fight like you don't want to be.

A mixture of both, he doesn't pace himself well.

he has trouble keeping focus and adjusting.

he won the 1st rd versus tszyu, but was losing the 2nd round before he got careless and got put on his ass.

he was doing well in the early rounds against baldomir, but baldomir found a way to get that right hand in there and hurt him midway through the fight. judah did little in the last 5 or so rounds.

he was doing well in the first 4 rounds against floyd, but once floyd timed him with the straight right hand and started attacking the body with consistency, judah didn't know what to do to re-adjust, so he just took an ass-beating to the body and looked for one shot, until finally he almost got himself DQ'd.

I wasn't too convinced with his confidence level against Cotto from the start. He was flopping all over in round 1 after a borderline shot, when he had hurt Cotto. The round 3 low-blow was brutal and Golota-like, the round 1 low-blow was borderline and Judah was still squealing like Ned Beatty in the woods.

Judah finished both Spinks fights strong in the latter rounds, stopped Green in 10.

I will have to watch the Ward fight again but I think he did well in the latter rounds after being hurt in round 8 (i think) to the body.

              What hate?

You recognize that Zab stops fighting after 4, right?

I'm just actually looking at alternative explanations other than he doesn't have the focus, etc.

              What's wrong with that?

if he can only 4 rounds it means hes not training well which i doubt
i think hes weak mentally and cant handle pressure

You were hating on him in the other thread or just criticizing. I doubt he stops fighting after four rounds that was just in the Floyd fight. He like everyone else was hurt by low blows against cotto. Was beating tszyu easy. I think its just a stereotypical way to view it. So no I disagree, bud.

yeah i agree why does everyone h8 him......hes a brilliant fighter who has more talent than nearly everyone fighting today, he just is too volatile and weak mentally and loses composure too easily
