Actually, that was 1 yr, 8 mo ago, and I surely hope you're not suggesting that that 37 year old Tarver (or any Tarver for that matter) was on Joe's level.

I'm just playing with these kids who think Hopkins will win on the basis of his being "street" and having gone to the "pen." That doesn't make anyone tough. There are plenty of ******* on the street, and there are great boxers also from middle-class backgrounds.
It all may have made Hopkins the person he is, whatever that means, but it's no advantage. The only ones who think Hopkins has an advantage because of that **** are ****** wannabe kids who have listened to too many rap albums, and that's about 75% of this site.
So leave me, harassing these little punks is my job. I've no problem with you.

I know you still haven't entirely overcome your hip hop wannabe teenage persona, but you're getting there. I have faith that in two years or so you'll be above buying into this ****. Right now you're still proud you came from Hoboken and you still think it makes you tough.
'Nard wasn't in gang fights anyway. He grew up soft.

But you wouldn't seriously argue, I hope, that beating Tarver was as good as beating Kessler. Kessler is ten times the fighter Tarver is.
And what about Jermain "Mr. Mediocrity" Taylor?
