Many of you have added comments as to how Hatton lost to Mayweather, the bottom line is that Mayweather is just a better overall fighter, that's obvious.

But....how does losing to Mayweather suddenly make you a bad fighter overnight? No-one as yet has managed to beat Mayweather, Hatton unlike some took the fight to him and paid the price but at least he came to compete.

He was criticised for fighting bums so he fought Tszyu, he was then criticised for not fighting outside of the UK so he came across and moved up weight to fight Collazo, he was then criticised for not being able to handle top men so he took on Castillo and finally he was criticised for ducking Mayweather so he fought Mayweather. Hes fought three of the greatest fighters in the last ten years around his weight division and beat two and lost to another.

Better fighters than Hatton have been KO'd by far worse fighters than Mayweather but now Hatton is a bum?

No one tried to say he had the skills of SRL but he comes to fight and has attempted to accommodate all the negatives thrown at him by doing what was asked (better opposition, change of country, change of weight division) yet still the hate???

Style and size have a huge bearing on a fight, Hatton is an explosive and awesome 140LB fighter and a very good but limited 147lb fighter who gives it 100% and attempts to entertain at every opportunity.

Is he done as a fighter after one loss, I would say no but until we all see him return its impossible to be sure isn't it?

the biggest tactical error in the fight by far was his corner not telling Hatton to use his jab ,i know Hatton does'nt have a jab but if you are gonna stand any chance against Floyd u have to jab your way in

most people accepted that the best way to beat Floyd was preassure & that Oscar never won the fight because he is'nt a natural preasure fighter ,the preasure is a key element to beating Floyd but it was'nt the preasure that Floyd was put under by Oscar that had him Floyd losing the 1st half of the fight it was the jab that is the real key to beating Floyd IMO

on the whole Hattons biggest mistake was not using his jab or any straight punches for that matter ,Floyd can roll with Hooks all night long as long as he keeps his right hand up ,the philly shell is made for a fighter like Hatton who only throws Hooks

I respect Graham in the gym he obviously gets Ricky in good shape but his tactical knowlege seems limited and his corner work is the worst i have seen.

It was like can we have some headmovement coming in Ricky pretty pretty please my son. And he said Ricky can we throw the jab mate we need a jab i`ll throw in a cake with a cherry on top.
