Ricky Hatton is done as a fighter IMO ,i think Hattons best days are beihnd him i think all the weight issues have caught up with him & slowly he is diminishing as a fighter

IMO Hatton is gonna struggle in his in his upcoming fights ,i really think PBF had taken something out of him as a fighter aswell with the knockout loss

    anyone agree

yeah i agree. He doesn`t live the life of a boxer all the time. he should be staying in shape all year round not putting on 30lbs between fights, its crazy.

I didn`t think much of him as a fighter in the first place to be honest. He looks great against bums, but showed nothing against world class fighters.
His best wins are against old men like Castillo and Tzsyu.

he should either live healthy and get a rematch with Floyd or just retire. i wouldn`t pay to watch him hugging and hitting anymore, yes he's done.

We'll see in his next fight. The biggest hurdle for him is to recover from the loss mentally and of course his habits outside of the ring certainly don't help.

Depends on his motivation, I think.
He's not the same as he used to be, I agree with that, but short sluggers like Hatton never last beyond the age of 30.

He can still be an elite fighter if he's up for it, but every fight will be tough and hard for him from now on. That takes your motivation away.
I'd say he's got a couple of fights left in him..

he has alaways been a bum imo, but he did have one thing going for him, he could do his work all day and disrupt you with his gay tactics.....

not anymore, since after the tszyu fight he runs out of gas in less and less rounds each time.....he is finished, anyone who can go more than 6 rounds against him has a shot at beating him....

its just a hunch ive got ,it is not healthy for a fighter togo up & down in weight so much & making weight in short spaces of time can effect your durability maybe that is one of ther reasons Hatton was hurt so badly in that fight

Hatton gave a better performance in the press conferences with his one liners than he did in the fight.

Personally I think a large portion of the blame should go on billy graham. He didn`t keep Hatton away from all the bull**** that he didn`t need to hear, gave him no useful advice in the corner and seems to me gave a bad game plan overall.

Plus he shouldn`t have taken the fight at 147 after the Collazo debacle.

I`m sick of hearing about hatton. the guy is not an athlete, he just a pie eating joker.

he's ****ing punch drunk, And drunk at the same time, cant accept his ko loss, and blames it on the refferee, ****ing bull****.

Floyd gave everyone a blueprint of how to beat hatton, so he should retire with his ****ing boring ass fights, thats what i call ****ing boring, clinch hold clinch hold, how embarassed he must feel getting beat in his own game,
                  mmmmm ^_^

But still i want witter to beat him, so he would stfu
