Point taken, but I didn't have the time to go into more detail and I agree good technique improves your power (and speed) more than muscle. That guy had **** technique compared to you, you have described very well how you generate your power - you bring more of your mass to bear into the force of the punch (whereas with a jab you have the speed, but less of your mass put through it i.e. the weight of the projectile is less). A perfectly executed hook in slow motion would still bring your mass to bear but it needs the speed to deliver. Yeah, the hardest punchers aren't normally the quickest, but those shots are still quick per se and because of technique the full force of their bodies comes through the shot.
Take a look a a mantis shrimp, it weighs little more than a king prawn, but through its 'technique' and speed of delivery it can knock through a crab's shell or break a man's finger
