it was the way he got up and just went in to KO mitchell that was more impressive for me, He just went mad..Thats why he is the best boxer we brit have around today.

I doubt many boxers would have been able to get up from that punch, but to get up and then KTFO of the guy that hit you. It must be so demoralising to hit someone with a great punch then watch them get up and come back at you even stronger.

Amazing stuff from Joe. Those combinations were perfect.

Calzaghe's ethos is if you hit me once I'm gonna come back and hit you four times.

Mitchell also said that he'd 'never been hit so hard so often'

He done an interview last year and said it was the sweetest punch he had ever landed in a fight and looked to his corner celebrating when he looked over Joe was up at 3. He then thought he must be so badly shook that hed just wade in and finish him off and got nailed.

"Calzaghe was having his way with Byron Mitchell, when he walked straight into a massive right hook, which landed with such force that Calzaghe pirouetted on the spot before his legs folded under him.

It appeared to be a very heavy shot i thought the fight was over it was the sweetest right hook i had seen in a decade, but like Jason of Halloween fame, Calzaghe was up in a flash, spinning on his knee, before jumping to his feet. Amazingly, his head seemed to have cleared almost instantaneously"

I didn't know he said that! It looked a peach didn't it. I wonder how well he takes Enzo Mac's stuff in Gym with sparring gloves on?? Can Enzo catch him!!

That was an early stoppage for sure, but Mitchell didn't look like he was going to be able to take much more anyway. Calzaghe should be too smart to fight Hopkins the way he fought Mitchell, if not, he's going to be in trouble.
