It's not so much that he put the weight on, it's that he temporarily lost the weight for the weigh in.

He walks around at 166, then dehydrates, cuts food intake and uses laxitives before the weigh in. By eating and rehydrating his body restores itself to its natural weight (or close to) for the fight.

Cutting weight is an art in itself.

easy ...his height and body size allow him to absorb up to that much after dehydrating himself and starving himself to death wich contributed to his loss

It's pretty clear that Williams is having problems making weight.
He said a while back he was walking around at 155.
That can't be the case now because he is enterng the ring weighing in close to what a Super Middleweight weighs.

Its probably more typical to gain around 5-10 pounds, but almost all fighters will add weight within that period.

It definitely might reflect some serious questions about Williams though and how difficult it is for him to make 147. It might be time to consider a higher weight class because I just don't think it's healthy and probably effects his power/stamina.
the cuts over the eyes are more of an indication of how extremely dehydrated he was.

I don't think its just dehydration and not eating on the day of the weigh-in thats the only thing he did. I want to know if there are other ways of cutting weight that I don't know of.
Our mass is made up of almost 70% of water.

So I don't know how you think it's "impossible" to dehydrate and hydrate 17 pounds.

Thats a toughy, I know alot of ppl are going to say that making weight is part of the game and such, but the main reason we have weight divisions is so the fighters are as evenly matched as possible, losing alot of water weight doesn't effect the body as much as you would think especially if its for a short period of time, and these fighters are giving themselves a big advantage putting on in some cases over a stone (2 weight classes)
