Cotto will win, Mayorga had trouble beating a slow and fat Vargas....

Some of ya are to concern on who beats who, has if ya don't even think of a match up being exiting and entertaining, cause really, that's all boxing is. They fight and make the money, we spend the money in hopes of seing a action packed fight, it doesn't matter who loses really, everyone loses sooner or later, so I ain't tripping. And I love watching Mayorga fight, I would love to see him give cotto a free body shot. But of coures I want to see the Floyd,Cotto fight, cause Floyd looks unbeatable, and so does Cotto, and that would have me pumping, sure ya may say,Cotto didn't look unbeatble against Torres, and Corley, but that was at 140, and he wasn't has polish has he is now, at 147, plus ya all know his even getting better every fight.

Mayorga brings more to the table than Alfonso Gomez. Mayorga is a much popular fighter and the PPV with Vargas did well MAINLY because of Mayorga.

You have GOT to be KIDDING.... you actually think the PPV numbers did good cause of Mayorga?? how many people were there chanting Vargas?.. Mayorga gots no fans, he doesnt bring ****, Vargas vs Mosley also did good, all cause of Vargas, he has a huge fan base.. The comeback fight for Vargas in 05 also did good in ticket sales..

Casual fans know Mayorga, hes been in there with the biggest names of this era and always puts on a show, Im even willing to say Mayorga is more of a box office draw than Cotto. Even people who dont like Mayorga will pay to see him fight, so the name chanting means nothing.

                  honestly...I dont mind these fights.

Quintana vs. Margarito makes perfect sense. Margarito is rated #1 by the WBO anyway. This makes just as much sense as Margarito-Cintron, if not more.

and really...Cotto-Mayorga is more or less the same as Cotto-Gomez...except Mayorga is (in my mind) more fun to watch.

It would make for a fun card. oh, but theres one problem that will make me hate it and pray that these matchups dont happen.....

                  He said it was Pay-Per-View

Mayorga is no Gomez come on now, Mayorga is a multidivision world champion and former undisputed welter weight champion of the world. Mayorga at 147 is a problem for anybody, his power and chin at that weight is unmatched.

The question I would like to know is whether or not Mayorga could actually make 147 anymore, he hasn't fought at that weight in just over 4 years.
