      It's this obsession that we have these days about perfect records, it wasn't always that way. I believe it's robbing us of a lot of matchups and is the reason fighters are usually very careful early in their careers.

      Hopkins lost his very first fight, and then lost his very first shot at a title, but I think his career turned out pretty damn good.

        Agreed, IMO nowadays the difference between having an undefeated record and not matters much more than back then.

          But its the way you lose. Losing a decision is better than losing by KO.

          Losing by KO can affect you mentally

              Boxing is the only sport where if you lose once in can change everything. I hate that about the sport so much.
