Who do you think has more pop in their punches? I dont think Mayweather is a hard hitter but his power is VERY underrated. Mayweather buckled oscar's knees twice in their fight but they were at 154 and floyd was still cautious because of oscar's size. And who can KO Baldomir? Even Forrest failed.

While both of them hit hard at the lower weights, who do you think hits harder at 147 lbs? Make your points clear on your choice. Thanks

I think floyd's accuracy gives him the edge overall.

The way it looks right now I'd have to say Mayweather. At least in the sense that he can keep his opponents more honest with his shots, and that has as much to do with the sheer velocity as it does blunt impact. It was eye-opening to see Floyd backing up De La Hoya up with single shots.

I agree with you, It was surprising floyd did stun oscar a few times and i was definately surprised as this fight was at 154 lbs not 147 (where floyd would have less power than 147

            I don't even think it's a contest.
            Shane is just naturally stronger.
If you're asking who hits harder, it's Shane.
Floyd has clean and effective shots, it doesn't mean they're harder than Mosley's punches.

It is Mosley but I agree that Floyd's power is underrated.

Mosely is the more powerful puncher of the 2.. BUT Mayweather is the best puncher in boxing in a long time... His timing, accuracy and speed are like a +20 to his power rating..

I was pretty sure Mayweather and Calzaghe both are known to hit hard but not hit hard enough to ko opponents because of their broken hands. Atleast the rumors on the internet*which could be bs* claim they both always have hand problems. But seeing tape of floyd training(not sure if those are fake training tapes) but it doesn't seem like he trains to hit the heavy bag hard as hell
