Williams still threw 800 punches but the problem was he couldn't hit s***. Quintana worked a lot too, throwing 600 punches.

Williams has no accuracy, his punches looked sluggish and slow. I thought it was ringrust at first but it went on and on for 12 rounds, he couldn't adapt, it's obvious that Williams still needs some work on his technique.

Calzaghe on the other hand is an experienced and skilled veteran like many have already said.

Hopkins will prove to be a more elusive target than Kessler or Lacy and his clinching tactics will diminish Calzaghe's punch output but the fact remains, Hopkins doesn't have much offense left, he is all defense.
Some people scored that Hopkins vs Wright fight for Winky because Hopkins barely threw punches even though he made Wright look very bad.

Calzaghe will try to make the fight, he will outwork Bernard Hopkins and he might look bad doing it. I just hope he won't get screwed by the judges.

This won't be a very warm welcome to the US for Calzaghe. I'm expecting a dull, foul-filled contest.

The only way I see Calzaghe throwing 1000 punches and destroying Hopkins is if Hopkins is shot and can't see the punches coming anymore.
To Calzaghe's credit, he is fast and he does throw lots of punches when his opponent can't handle it.
