No way in hell was he green.
Marcus Beyer was past his prime and didn't test Kessler at all. He simply gave up.

Anothony Mundine is not a great fighter. Good but not great.

He did not take Kessler into deep waters and make him fight for 12 rounds. Calzaghe has that experience and brought educated pressure on the inexperienced Kessler.

Also, who ever said that Kessler's resume was better than Calzaghe's need to do more research because its simply not true. Calzaghe beat good fighters such as Eubank, Reid, Lacy, Veit, Mitchell, Brewer, Sheika ect and you could make a case that all of them were better than Mundine and Beyer.

      Did you see Chambers-Povetkin?
Chambers was at times just staring at Povetkin and taking a pounding at the same time, it doesn't necessarily mean discouragement, it could mean fatigue as well, it depends how you look at it.
Yeah i seen the fight and it was very good. Chambers did the same thing because he is also inexperienced and had never been involved in an event that was as big as that one, he definatley was not tired because he was not showing it in his corner. Povetkin was th one that showed fatigue.

Kessler needs to fight again. Good that he gets support, now lets see if he can come back strong.

Kessler = overrated. I don't think he's all that great of a boxer honestly and is pretty inexperienced in big fights. Hopkins is the better boxer of the two, and more technically sound. Plus I think Kessler would fall victim to his head games.

(for the record I picked Hopkins by KO. Which he would have in his prime, but today it be a UD. The thread started didn't indicate if this is prime vs prime or what).

He wouldn't of KOed Kessler, is that a joke?

No version of Hopkins KOs Kessler. I give him at best a 115-113 decision over Kessler in his prime.

Prime Hopkins would score a decision over Kessler, or maybe Kessler would even beat Hopkins, but who cares, we'll never see what the prime Hopkins would do to Kessler. Prime vs. Prime, Old Kessler vs. Old Hopkins, it doesn't matter really. Hopkins is not knocking Kessler out, no chance in hell.
