I think that fight has to happen. Cotto is more desusional than Williams. Williams wants Cotto. Cotto wants Mayweather, Mayweather wants Oscar and wants no part of the younger WW clearly. I also think Cotto will start to feel the Williams call louder once he get another win vs a good fighter - quintana. Yes Cotto has already beaten Quintana but hasn't beat Margarito, Williams has.
      cotto # 3??? hahahahaha

But Margarito-Cotto would be a more entertaining fight

I want Cotto--Mayweather first b/c Williams is too dangerous for any WW, especially with Cotto only being 5'7"!!!! No excuses but I've heard Williams is actually 6'3" and that makes him a "Freak" in the division and I think it would be absolutley ****** for Cotto to want this fight b/c it could ruin his chances that Floyd would ever fight him. Somewhere Floyd is hoping Williams gets a chance at Cotto and beats him so he can dismiss Cotto as an opponent, Floyd will just say oh he has a lost he ain't worthy when real fans know the truth!!!!

Like some have mentioned It would be suprising if Cotto chose to face Williams before he got a fight with Mayweather. Just for the fact that a loss to Williams (which could happen with Paul's height and reach advantages) would derail the huge payday and opportunity Cotto would have if he got the chance to fight Mayweather. I could see Mayweather take a fight with Cotto, but I doubt he takes one with Williams.

Floyd is probably capitalize on his p4p status while it lasts and fight away from that imo. I think the other WW will lose valuable fights waiting for Floyd. The only way Floyd could be drawn to fight a younger fighter again is if he feels motivated to like this young fighter has the belts and wants to unificate. Trust me thats the only chance we see Mayweather in the ring vs a younger fighter. He has said he praizes his legacy alot and is very conscious of what "dumb decisions" are in boxing. It sucks but in boxing today everyone wants to stay out of harms way unless very well payed (Hatton Mayweather happened because of huge purse, Mayweather Hoya same thing).

You're probably right but i don't think Floyd is biting that. I think both Cotto and Williams need Floyd more than Floyd needs them. If floyd beats a todays Cotto or Williams it will look like another undefeated record on his rusume but it won't be the big **** for a career ending fight (in a hopefully good way, not in the hospital lol) you know what i mean? Either Cotto or Williams have to get bigger than what they are to look appealing to Floyd. FIGHTING GOMEZ IS NOT HOW YOU DO IT. Of course haters need not to worry, all fighters comeback but a shadow Floyd won't feel as good to beat as a still fit enough one. Remember Floyd is turning 31 next 24th.

Cotto will have two belts by the time this fatal four way finishes. Unification with Floyd, HELL YEAH. Williams is seriously going to be left out of the loop. He just better hope he get's a shot at the winner of Mosley/Judah.

That sucks big time, i hope the best WW today isn't left out. Btw he has one of the belts, there's no real unification without Williams in the mix.
