Andy Lee Injured, Pavlik Fight in November?

when andy lee beats someone of consequence than he can start talkin about pavlik.. get some real fights goin and stop fighting cans

Those cans have a 70% win percentage, and when he fought the least of them he appologized for not fighting a guy with a better record.

Manny is jumping the gun a bit. But don't let that take away from Lee's genuine ability. When Andy Lee has the same amount of fights as Pavlik he'll be a much better fighter.

Hell Pavlik isn't even in the pound for pound top ten. Lee will top that list some day.

If Pavlik beats taylor again he should be top 10 P4P, and i believe that you are right in saying that Lee will top it someday. I think lee could possibly beat Pavlik right now, but id rather have them give lee some time.

I am not doubting andy lee's potential but he only has fifteen fights under his belt.. Would like to see him fight some top ten level competition

I agree with what pretty much everyone is saying. It is too early to be talking Pavlik right now. Pavlik isn't someone Lee would just run over. He'd have to be prepared to hit the canvas get up and maybe hit the canvas again. He's not ready for that war. I do think Vera, Eastman, and Wright (and in that order) are some good choices. Steward is also making Lee fight too often. Now that Lee is getting more seasoned its time to put him against the tougher opposition every few months, not every month. If he fights every month and then fights Pavlik he will get hurt bad. This is why trainers train and managers manage. Lee should be patient, if he is the truth, which a lot of people think he is. Then his time will come.
