Andy Lee Injured, Pavlik Fight in November?

Man, Steward needs to lay of the crack pipe for a while, he's been making back to back asinine comments like this one for over a month now. I understand he wants to hype the kid and from what I've seen from Lee he could be a top contender, but after only 15(?) fights? with practically no real contenders, how can he be calling a title shot at Pavilk when he hasn't really earned it...give me a break.

It seems to me that Lee’s people( Stewart primarily) are getting way too ahead of there selves by planning a fight with Pavlik in November when Lee hasn’t fought, much less beaten the scheduled opponents he has in front of him. I mean, Howard Eastman and Winky Wright are no fighters to look past...

I think a good comparison to this situation would be, a football team looking past the playoff opponents and just focusing on the Super Bowl…

It doesnt matter though, because if they do get the Wright fight, Lee will lose that as well and we'll never have to watch the complete mismatch that is Pavlik-Lee

the entire situation is bizzarre, so much that it seems like stewart's comments and planning shouldn't be taken at face value. Maybe he can get winky into the ring b/c he knows all the irish that would watch it, but it wouldn't even be ppv worthy.. Although i would certainly pay for it.

Manny is jumping the gun a bit. But don't let that take away from Lee's genuine ability. When Andy Lee has the same amount of fights as Pavlik he'll be a much better fighter.

Hell Pavlik isn't even in the pound for pound top ten. Lee will top that list some day.
