Let me rephrase. This fight will be a sloppy ugly fight and alot of the rounds will be hard to score. Joe Calzahge already looks very sloppy and with Hopkins enforcing his will on to that style hitting and holding he will make Joe look even more uneffective despite the high work rate of Slappy Joe.

At the end of the day it will go to disatance and nobody in the crowd or watching on TV will be sure who won.

My Official Pick: Bernard Hopkins by majority or split decision. After that we will see alot of Calzaghe stans crying robbery and I will Lmao.

The IBF belt was vacant and it was one of those matches where one guy was clearly supposed to win. That guy was Hopkins. That said, I haven't seen the fight, but it's not like the cards were stacked against Hopkins to the point where he would have to **** Mercado up to get a draw I don't think.

So let's see... both have fought outside their home unified governmental entity's owned territory (that covers my ass for the argument, UK ISN'T A COUNTRY SLAG!!!)...

Neither fight in countries that frequently rob fighters.

                      What's the problem here again?

Why would one get the nod over the other in this type of comparitive analysis?

No one knows! Certainly I don't.
