Bernard Hopkins Has Fought In Europe Before

That's right my british friends. Bernard once fought in Paris, France. He didn't beat nobody special but coincidentally his opponents name was Miranda.

Anyway, the point is, Bernard has fought in europe before and Joe Calzaghe hasn't fought in America before.

That should put a stop to the talk about Hopkins and just generally american fighters needing to come to Europe to fight when talking about this upcoming Calzaghe/B-Hop fight.

Hopkins also fought in Ecuador and drew with Segundo Mercado.

When you draw with a champion in his hometown after getting dropped two times you just know you had to do pretty well in that fight.

Yeah I noticed that too. I was just specifically talking about europe. Because I keep reading the same old talk like "Why can't Hopkins come to Whales and fight Joe, why does Joe have to come to America?". Guess what Hopkins has fought in Europe once even though nothing big. Joe in 17 years never once came to America and he wonders why he isn't getting the big fights. If you wanna fight in europe forever, you're gonna have to settle for second rate american fighters. Joe has beaten plenty of those.

And now his first fight in the U.S. and he is getting Bernard Hopkins.

There is no such country as "Whales".

I couldn't give a rat's where they fight, I just wonder why Bore Hard has to do the "he's never fought here before" routine.

Also, the interchangable aspect still doesn't work... Hopkins HAS fought in Europe (I was well aware of this) but he hasn't fought in the UK. Joe has also fought outside of the UK, in Germany and Denmark. "Europe" isn't a country.

Don't be such a technical Dip****. Fact is Hopkins was on European terrirtory at least once before and Calzaghe was not once on American territory. We're talking about continents.

UK.....who gives a **** about the UK. Who gives a **** about Las Vegas, Nevada. We're not talking about specific locations. We're talking about Eurpe and United States of America.

One has been on the others territory and the other one hasn't.

          Point made and case closed.

"Case closed"? You arrogant little twat.

THE POINT BERNARD MAKES IS THAT JOE HASN'T FOUGHT OUTSIDE HIS "OWN BACKYARD". CONSIDERING THAT HE'S FOUGHT IN GERMANY - THE WORST PLACE FOR ROBBERIES - THEN I CONSIDER HE HAS.

GERMANY IS A DIFFERENT COUNTRY TO WALES (OR "WHALES" YOU ****ING GOB****E)... I'M SURE JOE DOESN'T SEE GERMANY AS "JUST EUROPE" OR "HIS BACKYARD" YOU RANCID ****ING **** POLLIP.

One is a country and one is a continent. It would have been a better argument to make a comparison between North American and Europe.

Bernard is generalizing. He is talking about Joe's majority of fights being held in Whales (yes I left out the H, way to nitpick about somebodys typo like I give a **** what it's spelled like) while Hopkins has been all over the place including having a fight in Europe on his resume.

Has Hopkins fought most of his career in Philadelphia? I don't think so.

You don't care what a country is spelt like? Yeah, it's called a ****ing EDUCATION.

Just like less than HALF of Joe's fights have taken place in Wales.

Oh wait... when Joe's fighting in England against an English fighter he was the home favourite, huh?
