Witter should get Ricky after beating D-Hop. If he doesn't, I'll lose respect for Hatton.
Logistically the fight can't happen after Witter and Hopkins. That fight takes place next month and Hatton's next fight takes place in May and the one after that will be against Malignaggi so Witter would need at least one more fight in between times.

even if he wins that will kill the demand for it probably.

      Isn't D-Hop a counterpuncher.

      ....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

This fight will happen because it has to. It won't be good, and it will be forgotten quickly.

Hatton UD, while Witter, feints, dances and poses, and does nothing on the inside, while Hatton wracks up the rounds.

        Why would Hatton fight Malignaggi?

If Hatton fights 3 times this year and takes on Witter (if Witter wins all of his fights) at the end of the year it's alright but Malignaggi had a dreadful performance in his last fight.
I guess Hatton saw something and will take advantage of it when they fight. Atleast he will get his belts back this way and the fight with Witter will be a title unification.

People must remember that Witter is getting older and older, I don't think he has more than a year or two left in the boxing business.

Hatton wants to fight in MSG and Malignaggi is the obvious choice for a fight there.

Witter/D-hop would sure be boring....Both been counterpuncher, But if they could both win both there 2 fights then they need to get it on NO more excuse.

I think Hatton would consider Witter at some point down the line. Maybe when Witter has defended his titles against very decent opponents. BUt it wont be age that ruins Witters chances, but more likely he will be exposed by losing when he faces someone half decent.

Not that there are many decent fighters that i can think of in the light welters. But i think if Hatton leaves it, someone else will have whooped Witter.

Hatton shouldn't fight him. Witter hasn't fought anybody Hatton has. Witter is on the Hit list, but first is that girly puncher bum Paul

Hatton is ducking him and has all along in my view ,, Witter is WBC champion in the same division for **** sake , what else does he need to bring to the table ,,, Ricky dont like him and he dont want him to get a pay ,, you gunna swallow that load of drivel , lol , I thought if a fighter dont like another fighter he wants to beat the crap out of him and be paid to do it ,,, but not ol Ricky boy ,,, come on , are people really that gullible , he is ducking its as plain as day and he quivers in Witters presence , every step along Rickys career a Witter fight was a legit fight , now more than ever , Floyd showed why Hatton has ducked him because Witter will stop Hatton much the same way Floyd did .

Witter has no chance of stopping Ricky Hatton.
