Hatton made all kind of excuses when it comes to Witter because he had to more excuse at the time, Ian darke even said hatton's ducking of Witter is becoming ridiculous now, Hatton had NO option but to lie that he HAD Witter's name in his contract..Please ask hatton so what happen to the contract then???

That can be answered very simply - Frank Warren is what happened. The fact that Witter called Hatton out does not entitle him to a fight. Ajose Olusegun recently called out Witter after a fight so does that mean Witter is ducking him?

Witter and Hatton have had a rivalry for years and both have held a portion of world titles at some point. Olusegun is not on the same level as them, and they would both beat him.

Hatton had no problem fighting 39 or so bums before Kostya, but Witter is not worthy of the fight? Hatton made his deubt in 1997, yet only made a name for himself in 2005.

And Witter is only making a name for himself now. Hatton and Witter were both promoted by Warren. If you want to blame someone for the fight not happening then blame him.

I recently saw a poll on the Ricky Hatton official site where one of Hattons real-life team members posed the question as to whether Hatton should fight Witter to determine fan opinion. The majority of staunch Hatton fans now conceded that it was time Hatton swallowed his pride and got on with the fight. It's been that long overdue that even avid Hatton supporters are beginning to tire of his excuses. Hopefully the results of that poll will have a decisive impact and the fight will happen this year or, at the latest, early 2009.

NOW I get why so many are clamoring about Witter and discredit Hatton. I should have known better.

Witter has bigger problems to think about now, his fight against D-Hop will be very difficult. I think Witter will win but it's not an easy fight for him.

Witter should get Ricky after beating D-Hop. If he doesn't, I'll lose respect for Hatton.
