Witter didnt deserve to be in the same ring as Hatton until recently so

Lie detector tests are fallible but that's hardly the point, Hatton was fighting guys who had mixed it a world level while Witter was still fighting at European level. I'm not knocking him because a lot of fighters go down that route but you have to understand that a fight with Witter would have been an unnecessary distraction.

listen, if you are trying to convince me that most of hatton's opponents were better than Witter in the 7 year span that he has been ducking him, its not gonna happen. I am not delusional. There isn't any comparison, witter is FAR better than 90% of the guys hatton picked to fight instead of Witter in the past couple of years. Its just fact.

It would be wise for his bank acct. to take a fight in the states with Malinaggi b4 taking a higher risk for less reward with Witter. I think he will fight Witter b4 he retires though definitely.

You have to understand when it comes to Hatton fans we are not talking about 'Normal' fans here, They would believe anything Hatton ****s out as the gospel, The guy has the most padded record from 2000-2005 before he fought Tsyzu, He was made the underdog in his win over Tsyzu not just because of how good Tsyzu was because of how bad Hatton's opposition was..He NEVER fought anyone who was ranked at the IBF to get a shot at Tsyzu..His ranking was brought and pay for by his promoter (Frank warren).

My opinion of it is that RIcky has left it too late. He should have taken on Witter years back, when he had less of a status and perhaps less pressure. Ever since then his status and reputation has built up more and more. If he loses this fight, which if taken years ago would have been nothing he pretty much loses everything he has built up.

Physcologically Witter has him, at the time I think Ricky had no gripe fighting him, but now he's insecure and somewhat lacking confidence.

Totally agree....But even back then SKY pressured Warren and Hatton into the fight but they still ducked it ...Ian darke even made fun of Hatton at one of Witters fight, Hatton didnt know where to look...You could see the fear in Hatton's eye.

yeah, they remind me of Calzaghe fans. hatton fans have decreased quite a bit since his KO lose to mayweather but some delusionals are still around. I'm guessing the same will happen after Calzaghe loses to Hopkins. But maybe not, cuz that lose will come by UD which will be disputed by every Calzaghe fan till the end of time. OH they have definitely decrease since the Mayweather KO, I couldnt stop laughing for weeks, When Mayweather moved up they all said he did so to avoid Hatton...Even though Hatton came out himself and said "I need two or three tune up" before i go on to face someone like Mayweather,In months leading up to the fight they were telling me how Hatton would take Mayweather "Down the threnches", Somewhere he has never been before, How he would make Mayweather fight for every second of every round.

When you point out to them that Mayweather is a fitness freak who trains while his opponent are still sleeping they make you a Hater, A day couldnt go by without various article on every boxing website about what Hatton could/Would do to Mayweather....So for him to be embarass and got KTFO unto the ringpost like an amateur gives me great pleasure.

Now they coming out with dumb excuses like the referee, "He fought the best" in the world BS.
