Floyd SHOULD fight Oscar Again, and I Would too

I think the problem with most of you guys is that most of you guys are 100% fans and leave no room for reason and perspective.....


I want to drive home this Point:

*Anybody can tell you as a fan I want Floyd and Cotto to fight….
However, my thinking is not of a 100% fan
I am 50% fan and a 50% Realist and I think as such....
In addition, because of that I would fight Oscar again too if I was Floyd, and so would cotto, Paul williams, shane mosely. and every other fighter.

So why should floyd be the fighter that turns down that 50,40,30 millions dollars ..

Let I said before every boxer in the world would put himself or herself before the sport of boxing....
Now you tell me who does not do that, and I will show you a liar...


And also I would fight Cotto too if I was Floyd, but the Oscar fight would have priority over the cotto Fight for obvious reason

So you would waste your prime years fighting meaningless fights with old, has beens? Personally I would fight Cotto and Williams before they get any better and I just got less active and older. Unless he plans on retiring for good after Oscar and doesn't care about his legacy or the fans.

So when it comes to Floyd taking easy fights to further his own self interests, we need to "understand" and be "reasonable and logical" but when it comes to the guy that Floyd SHOULD be fighting, he's a disgrace to boxing and is cheating the fans?

I think you have it completely backwards. De La Hoya has lost 3 (arguably 4) of his last 5 fights. Not counting the Sturm gift, he has won ONE fight in over 4 and a half years. Another win over him means NOTHING, except to Floyd's bank account, and since that's the only fight he has planned this year, another WHOLE YEAR of his PRIME WASTED.

I think he's saying that he would rather beat the best teams in the league on the Road to the Super Bowl so that no one can doubt how great he is, rather than win a Super Bowl ring against an opponent everyone believes he is going to massacre. We all love the Super Bowl, we just want the two best teams in the league playing in it becuz that produces the most competitive match possible. Just my 2 cents. I know boxing.
