Come to think of it Zab must have a good right hook, I mean he knocked Floyd down with it.

Right now Chad Dawson. Those right hooks he threw against Adamek were devastating.

Julio Cesar Chavez - Master of the Roundhouse right hands.

You should watch his whole fight against "Chapo" Rosario.

Julio Cesar Chavez doesn't throw right hooks, he throws a right cross. JCC is a orthdox fighter, it would look very awkward for him to throw a right hook from the orthodox stance, it wouldn't be wise either.

              "Roundhouse Right Hands"

The threadstarted was asking if any orthodox fighter threw right hooks, and Chavez did throw a hooking right hand.

Ofcourse any lefty is going to throw a right hook, instead of the conventional left hook, thats why the fighters who acctually throw right hook or roundhouses aren't too many.

If you haven't seen Chavez vs Rosario, there it is.

Watch it then come back and tell me Chavez diden't throw a right hook.

He does out of a orthodox stance, especially when his opponents are on the ropes covering up.

To me, a right hook has to come out of the southpaw stance. Otherwise it's just a looping right hand.

Absolutely true. Just like an orthodox fighter can't really throw a left cross.

If I went into a gym and called a looping right cross a right hook, people would give me condescending looks.
