Very well said! Couldn't agree more.I would like to comment on your little tribute to Ricky Hatton losing to Mayweather. It doesnt really matter that you are probably a fan of some fighter who opposes Hatton in his weight class. (probably Junior Witter) The fact of the matter is: Khan should beat somebody before even thinking of a fight in a higher weight class against the best junior welter in the world. Ricky would destroy this kid inside of 4 rounds. And as far as your page: What have you ever done? Won a belt of any sort? Made millions of fans and millions of dollars in the boxing capital of the world? Or, let me see? Have you fought a hell of a fight against the best current fighter in the world with more of your fans present in his home country and town than he had? I didnt think so, and neither has Junior Witter or Gavin Rees. So quit jumping on the left "check" hook bandwagon and shut your under achieving mouth. Ricky Hatton was given a raw deal fighting PBF with Cortez as ref. Simple as that. He won the majority of the first rounds and got pissed off and lost his head due to the poor officiating. That was the most connected elbows Ive ever seen in a fight in my life. Absolutely ridiculous that a fighter could turn a 360 degree rotation or lay on his side everytime he is going to get hit. Nobody besides Wladimir Klitschko would beat Mayweather in those circumstances. Now everyone wants to call out Hatton like hes a punk now. All these money grubbers can kiss mine and Ricky Hattons ass.Comment

Amir: I'll get ready for Ricky
AMIR KHAN has promised a British blockbuster against Ricky Hatton next year — IF the Hitman is still around.
Khan, 20, dumped Guyana’s Gairy St Clair on points to retain his Commonwealth lightweight belt on Saturday
But he reckons he will be ready to take on the best at light-welter in 18 months.
And a mouthwatering clash with Hatton is top of his list.
Khan said: “I don’t know if Hatton will be around by then. But if he is, then you never know.”
To celebrate the signing of one of Britain’s most exciting and talented young athletes, Reebok has created a stunning 3D film of Amir Khan, showcasing his astonishing hand speed, agility and boxing skill.

so whos next thaxton then two or three more fights and then hatton? assuming that hatton is still around this fight would be big. If khan would be ready to face hatton then is what i wonder, now it'd be hatton. these threads got merged hahaLast edited by jawsmafia; 02-05-2008, 02:58 AM.Comment

The pair of them would destroy Khan, today and in 2009.
Khan did well against St Clair, but not exceptional - now all of a sudden he's our best LW! so good that he'll move straight up to 140 and beat current champs.
Khan is yet to face a "live" in "prime" class fighter... and in my opinion he wont do until end of 08... so how on earth is he gonna be a contender @ 140 in 2009....
The Kid is a talented prospect... but at the this moment he is nothing but that.Comment

Khan would almost certainly suffer his first KO loss if he fought either Witter or Hatton immediately in his next fight which obviously is not going to happen but in 18 - 24 months, if he keeps improving in the same way, he'll be a legitimate contender and may have a good chance of beating either one of them, only time will tell. Things may well be very different in the JWW division by that time though, in the anticipated aftermath of Witter v Hatton.Comment
