I Think if Mayweather takes the rematch, he has to go down to Hattons natural weight,cos hatton was rattlin floyd in the early rounds, n if he had him at light welter i think he would stand an even greater chance in a rematch- but, floyd wud just adapt his tactics.

Floyd fanatics will say all the usual reflexive-propaganda but I refuse to be brainwashed. Cortez was too intrusive in that fight and I am al least curious to see how the fight might have unfolded with a different ref.

Hatton was robbed of any chances he had to win the fight by a shotty ref and PBF with his cheating tactics. Elbows, turning, sitting on his right knee. All of that caused Hatton to basically give up. Im not saying that he would have won the fight if the ref was different, Im just saying that the fight would have been really close and Hatton definitely would have had a chance to work on the judges opinions. I would not mind a rematch on even terms.

HAtton only got knocked out because he was punch drunk from Cortez setting him for shots by breaking the fighters up.

If that didn't happen then HAtton would've been fresh and went in for the kill in the later rounds.
