wow, another worthless rematch fight for Floyd? wow, thats great. real great.

Ricky Hatton doesnt want the Floyd Mayweather rematch, Ricky Hatton wants the biggest payday of his career again.

I would really like it if Mayweather did not have a rematch with either of the two guys he just beat. I mean, I would rather have him fight Alfonso Gomez and just kick the **** out of him and walk away, at least it would look impressive as hell.
Or maybe we could just have him fight Mosley, which would make perfect sense. nah, lets not do that. instead, lets have him have ****ty worthless rematches, or screw up the Cotto-Margarito showdown I want.

I acquiesce. I would rather see him and Floyd over Goldie and Floyd.

I remember Hatton on the canvas for a considerable amount of time.

Nothing about the first fight warrants a rematch.

We must have seen different fights. I could have sworn I saw Hatton stumbling around the ring.

Even though I'm a Brit and I have a real soft spot for Ricky, I have to say this is the wrong move for him. Hatton needs to accept he was beaten, and well beaten, by one of the best fighters of all time. If he gets a rematch he'll get beat again even if he doesn't lose his head like last time.

The ONLY chance I'd give Hatton is at 140, where he is undoubtedly fitter. How likely is Floyd to go down to 140 for the rematch though? Very unlikely.

As a fan of Mayweather's as well, I don't want to see him fighting the same fight twice anyway. Mayweather needs to stop *****footing around;take on the only serious competition at a weight he can make (Cotto) and retire with a 40-0 record.
