The problem with the bout is that weight and size could be a key factor in the fight similar to Hatton v Mayweather. Would be a great fight though for around 2009. I think if Witter fights Hatton and happens to win then there could be an opening for a Mayweather matchup, could be a money-spinner. But ideally Witter v Hatton will happen first, its been brewing for about 7 years and it should be a great fight whatever happens.

Marvin Hagler lost early in his career, as did Manny Pac; Hopkins lost his debut. Junior Witter is a totally different fighter than the one who lost to Zab. Not saying he'd beat Mayweather but he'd give him a decent fight at LWW.

I would like to see Hatton and Wittter. I think with Hatton coming off of his loss and Witter's last impressive victory, it's about time they meet.

Witter I think could beat Hatton, but Mayweather is a stretch. His style might be fit to at least compete with Mayweather, but not beat him.

I think Witter could beat Mayweather it would be a good fight. Before Hatton fought Mayweather I said I would rather it was Witter going over there because I think he has a better chance than Hatton at beating Mayweather.
