These threads make me embarrassed to be English.

Seriously, if it wasn't for the fact that I talk more sense than 90% of users, I'd hang my head in shame.

Ricky's style is rough, some say dirty. Joe Cortez was abit over officious, but that still doesn't explain why he was getting rocked down the last half of the fight.

For me, I don't score much for pure aggression. Hatton wasn't getting much business done in the way of clean, effective punching anyways and didn't bring a Plan B to Vegas either. If Hatton is still making excuses about getting KO'ed, then shame on him. He should be talking about how he's going to redeem himself in the ring instead of complaining about referee's. Joe Cortez may not have acted in his favor, but he certainly didn't land any check left hooks that sent him face first into a turnbuckle.

Personally, I think Hatton has exhausted himself as a fighter. He's so used to being an undefeated fighter and once certain fighters, like Julio Cesar Chavez, lose that aura of invincibility they're rarely ever the same again.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a rematch, but Hatton needs to stop with this. He lost fair and square.

I don't see how the rematch would be a whole lot different from the first fight anyway.

Ricky Hatton didn't have much luck that's for sure. For a start the undercards all went the distance to make his build up to the fight even longer and more nerve racking than it would of been, he's fighting at a higher weightclass against the P4P #1 and the reff is not letting him fight his fight by stepping in every time they where close and finally taking a point off him when he was already told by his corner he was losing the fight. All these things I think led to him being knocked out but none the less I KNOW Mayweather is the better fighter of the two and he thoroughly deserved to beat Hatton. Maybe Hatton could of lasted the distance if he didn't get too desperate, who knows... Mayweather beats Hatton 10/10 though imo so it doesn't matter.

This is just another excuse. Because he hit mayweather more than alot of people, he just got KTFO'ed.

Floyd vs. Hatton II after he beats Oscar and Judah in rematches might just sell, especiially at Wembledy Stadium.

Poor Cotto will never get his shot.
