Close fight but i think Pacquiao did enough to win..IMO.. i just think its kind of silly that a judge would do that, and i realize that someone stated the scoring is still arbitrary. But as i understand it, you generally give a point for every additional knockdown. Unless the fighter does some serious rallying to win that point back. JMM didn't do any serious rallying at any point int he first round.

theres no way Roach allows Pacquiao to throw that same punch combination all fight long and get countered. Its gonna be very difficult to anticpate the outcome of this bout. This fight could even result with no blood the way these two men are developing.

I can see how someone would score the fight for JMM, but according to what the judges scored. They meant to give it to Paquiao. When people watch this fight they might wanna turn the sound down, watch the punches. Those Mexican fans and Lampley's booming enthusiasm can make it difficult to be objective. With that said though, this one was really up for grabs.

One of the judges who declared the bout a draw scored the first round 7 to 10. This was an error, since with three knockdowns the round had to be scored 6 to 10.. Doesn't this mean that in actuality Pacquiao won the first fight. I realize the record books will never show this but shouldn't boxing fans view the decision this way?

I know people love Pac, and I'm no different (as you can see from my sig) but if he had have won that fight it would have been a ****ing travesty. JMM outboxed him from round 3 onwards and deserved the decision. I hope Pac does enough this time though
