Cotto is bigger than Mayweather. His shoulder, bone structure, legs, ****, everything but his height (and ego) is bigger than Floyd.

But when you are that big, does it mean then that Floyd has a target that's impossible to miss??

I wonder how Cotto would react in the press conferances when Floyd would jump all over his **** trying to get him angry.

    Or maybe we would see Floyd trying to utilize a new strategy;

Perhaps he would suck up to Cotto to make Miguel believe he's better than Floyd. And in order to make Cotto like Mayweather so much that he doesn't try to kill him in the ring...
Now that would be a sight to behold.

Anyways, how many low blows could Mayweather endure before bitching out and starting to run away from Cotto so much that he would lose the fight?
Or is it a possibility that Floyd would actually get knocked out by a (low) body blow?

I can envision poor little Floyd stretched out on the canvas, screaming like a girl while holding his crotch

Even if Cotto got DQ'd after being in front after 3-4 rounds, do you guys think FLoyd would give him a rematch?

If not, would that make him scared or a *****?

Wonder what Floyd would look like during the ring entrance...?
Maybe he would have a super-sized diaper on him with a nice pink teat?
Or maybe a painted bullseye on the crotch of his trunks?

**** me backwards how fun that would be!!

The only thing that scares Mayweather about Cotto is the lack of money he thinks he can earn from that fight at the moment. Mayweather knows he can beat Cotto but not without taking some punishment so I think he's waiting until he feels its worth the abuse. I don't agree with him waiting for the money and would like to see Mayweather handle this affair ASAP as a boxing fan. If he wins then no doubt we witness something great in Floyd Mayweather, regardless of personality, which can't be denied. Who knows though, this has been a year of upsets thus far and as much as I would like to see Mayweather honestly solidify his claims as an all time great, I am more interested in seeing how he would handle defeat. His reaction would undoubtedly make or break what little respect I try to give and hold onto for Floyd Mayweather.

Anyone that says its all about the money is full of ****.

As can be seen by the outcry for this fight to happen, it is currently the biggest money fight to be made in boxing.

The best welterweight in the world versus Floyd Mayweather.

Cotto vs Mayweather (Cotto is the legitimate champ at 147 so he comes first) could easily sell out Yankee Stadium, and would do incredible PPV numbers.

Nobody is going to buy DLH-Mayweather II. It is disgusting that the fight is even being considered.

            lol yes, yes he is.

He's two inches shorter, has a shorter reach, and hasn't fought at 154 pounds like Floyd has. He showed he could carry that weight easily.

Standing next to each other, you'd see Cotto is just stumpier............by no means the bigger man.

I don't see how it's rocket science, lol.

We saw Floyd next to Zab.

                And Zab next to Cotto.

I think to an extent he is afraid of cotto.

Maybe floyd sees something in cotto that makes him a real threat.

Mayweather can't go into a fight with cotto and expect cotto to get tired in the second half of the fight (like mayweather counted on against de la hoya).

Mayweather can't expect to talk enough trash to get inside the head of Miguel Cotto (like he did with Ricky Hatton).

Mayweather can't expect that cotto will fight wildly and get off his gameplan (cotto is a smart fighter who doesnt get overly excited very often).

Mayweather wouldnt be able to rely on a something like that...Mayweather would have to go in a fight cotto for 12 rounds...

maybe thats what scares mayweather is in his last couple fights he's relied on tactics that won him 75% of the fight before the opening bell (ie. knowing de la hoya was going to wear out; hatton was going to be broken by the trash talking and fight a fight he shouldnt fight against someone like mayweather)...

i dont think those things apply to cotto...cotto doesnt be moved by the trash talking; he's got a better chin than say (ricky hatton) and he's currently one of the best body punchers in the sport and he knows how to box...(as much as we see him brawl he DOES have pretty decent/good boxing ability from what i can see)...

so it wont be no easy payday for mayweather.

We saw Floyd next to Zab.

                      And Zab next to Cotto.
Floyd is taller (by a whole inch) and has the reach advantage (72" for floyd and 67" for cotto) BUT cotto is the bigger guy.

Cotto is thicker than mayweather; bigger bone mass, larger frame; etc.

floyd is just an inch taller (not a big difference)

but like i said cotto's arms are shorter...other than that cotto is the bigger guy.

Now i believe the arm reach disadvantage for cotto isnt a disadvantage at all...cotto would want to fight inside on mayweather anyway...and as long as cotto can come in behind the jab (unlike ricky hatton) then he wont have much problems with that...
