28 Ignorant posters on this board. Now seriously, if you legitimately think the best fighter in the world is afraid of another fighter who he believes is not on his level, you have to be a tad bit ignorant

He fought Corrales and Catillo at a weight that was good for him. 147 is not Floyd's best weight. 135 and 140 yeah, but these huge monsters that reside at 147 right now. Floyd doesn't want them. Not saying he'd lose to them but he doesn't want to risk his health.

            Cotto is smaller than Mayweather.

Cotto is bigger than Mayweather, bigger than DLH and bigger than Mosley (I am sure you saw the fight)

Cotto fought in the amateurs at 63.5 kilos. Floyd fought at 57 kilos.

                  So was JLC...AND Genaro Hernandez.

Floyds seen them all..Cotto is nothing new...Him and Floyd will fight..Cotto will lose.....badly...and the forums will say he has to fight Pavlik...
Genaro Hernandez and an old DLH?

You could make an argument for Castillo and Corrales though a lot of people would disagree with you there.

As much as I would love to see that upset, this fight's only as competitive as Floyd wants it to be. Cotto likely just doesn't have the goods, unfortunately.

                    But they should still fight.

Cotto was the same weight he is now when he was a boy because he was fat..
Fatness has nothing to do with size advantages/disadvantages imo since being overweight is being way beyond your natural weight.
