    floyd retiring

theres no way that mayweather is going to retire as the rematch with oscar is for sep. 08 and all the money waiting to be won . I would rather see him fight cotto as I think that delahoya cant defeat floyd but the big money talks .I dont think any body is capable of beating mayweather at this stage in his carreer.not even cotto.

Cotto's body shot really could take Floyd out. I know Floyd hasn't had a problem with body shots in the past, but I don't think he has faced a body puncher with near as heavy of hands as Miguel Cotto.
THis is very true. Its a high probability that Cotto will find Mayweather more often than anyone has been able to find him, and it will be interesting to see how he handles that.

Oscar wanted Hatton to win so that he could fight and beat Hatton in his next fight. I don't know anything about the relationship between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather but I don't think you know anything about it either.

I know Cotto is quicker than given credit for, but I'm not sure if he is going to do better than Castillo. I think Castillo had the right blend of jab + pressure for the first fight, but I think that Mayweather figured it out enough to clearly win the rematch.

It really might be that Castillo ****ed Cotto's chance up to beat Mayweather.

I PROMISE you that Mayweather will not "kill" Cotto. Cotto is too good and can adapt too well to get completely shut out.

Trust me, this isn't going to be Wright-Trinidad or something like that. Cotto will win a few rounds in the worst case scenario for him.

Am I supposed to be in shock? It's obvious Floyd could lose to Cotto. Cotto is a damn good fighter.

I will take that as an admission that you know very little about their relationship and were merely speculating.
