i wouldn't pay to watch either mosley/mayorga or mosley/spinks, but i would be happy to watch either NON PPV.

i think mosley/mayorga is a STRAIGHT OUT GIMME for mosley and he knows it. mayorga is a shell of his former self since trinidad tapped on that a-double and before that spinks gave him an ABSOLUTE boxing lesson.

i don't feel a need to hear what others had to say about mayorga winning because i saw the fight for myself and my mind is satisified with what i thought i saw.

spinks/mosley however would be very intriguing because if i remember right zab stretched spinks OUT a few years back and i think spinks is one of the best pure boxers of the last decade and it would be very interesting to see how he does with the speed, pressure and boxing ability of mosley. especially when shane doesn't need to worry about spinks hurting him....

i disagree. mosley can pretty much fight just about whoever he wants. his legacy is established. if he takes this fight it will be for the easy money and the guaranteed KO. beating mayorga does nothing for mosley's rankings because everyone knows mayorga's beat days were years ago, he's a shot fighter.

Its clear a win over Mayorga only helps your carrer. Im still surprised Mosley wants the fight. Mayorga isnt going below 158.

I was thinking along the lines of Mosley's just beaten Mayorga and now he may feel he can go out there and get a shot at one of the belts out there. Does that make a little more sense? Or am I just digging a further hole?
i'm not sure but due to the money the fight would bring it would seem that alcine or forrest would give him that shot right now? but i think jr middle is too big for shane

a more exciting match up, if either or both can get by their next fights, would be williams or berto.

I do know that the ESPNClassic announcers said that they would be shocked if Spinks didn't win, because they thought that he not only won the fight, but he dominated it.
well, one of the announcers was Chris Byrd, haha...
I respect the hell out of Byrd, but you KNOW the kind of style he would prefer.

For me, its extremely difficult to score a fight for Spinks...ever. I felt like Mayorgas blocked punches did more than Spinks' light, grzing jabs most the time. it just doesnt feel like Spinks is doing anything at all offensively in his fights, and I cant give him points for it. and Im not even like a hater of 'boxers' or anything, I enjoy watching Mayweather fight, Whitaker was great to watch to me...
